The WHSH-M series is a membrane-based stage-3 vapor recovery unit designed for gasoline stations. Installed at the storage tank breather valve, it automatically captures hydrocarbon vapors displaced during tanker unloading and normal tank pressure fluctuations, separates the hydrocarbon from air through a membrane separation process, returns recovered liquid product to the tank, and discharges clean air to atmosphere.
During tanker unloading, or whenever tank pressure exceeds the preset start value, the unit starts automatically. A compressor pressurizes the vapor, the air-cooled heat exchanger condenses it, and the gas–liquid separator splits the stream: recovered liquid flows back to the storage tank by gravity, while the remaining gas passes through the membrane module where oil molecules are drawn back to the tank by vacuum pump suction and clean air is discharged to the atmosphere. When tank pressure drops to the stop value, the system returns to standby — fully unattended.
Compressor pressurization, air-cooled condensation and membrane separation recover hydrocarbon as liquid product instead of releasing it — reducing product loss and keeping emissions clean.
Inlet, return and vent lines are grouped 500–550 mm above grade, so recovered liquid returns to the underground tank by natural gravity — no booster pump, no raised concrete platform, no flow blockage.
PLC with touchscreen HMI shows live pressure, temperature, membrane status and alarm history; supports remote software updates, parameter adjustment and RS485 data access.
Fully explosion-proof construction (Ex db eb ia mb IIB T4 Gb, IP55) with built-in flameproof electrical cabinet — safe for outdoor installation at fuel storage sites.
Multi-stage noise reduction keeps operation at or below 75 dB; optimized fan and compressor selection cuts energy consumption per unit of vapor treated.
Integrated, modular skid with a small footprint (1300 × 900 × 1120 mm, 410 kg) — fits most station layouts without major site modification.
